Measure & Install

Note: Take all measurements from outside the

Step 1

  Opening Width:
  Take 3 measurements from the inside of the brickmould: to, center, and bottom of the opening. Round the smallest measurement to the nearest 1/8", then record this measurement

Step 2

 Opening Height:
 Take 3 measurements from top of the opening to the sill: left, center, and right of the opening Round the smallest measurement to the nearest 1/8", then record this measurement

Step 3

 With the recorded measurements, verify with the bar coded label on the cardboard box and paperwork to make sure the size and information are correct.

 Step4

  Carefully unack the door, cut the straps and remove the cardboard. Lay the door flat, with the exterior side down.

 Step5

 Remove the glass and screen inserts. You will receive the door with the sash and screen mounted into the door frame and secured with sash/scren clips mounted upside down. Remove the mounted clips and set aside, careful not to lose the clips. There will be extra sash/screen clips packaged with the thumbscrews inside the hardware bos to secure the sash/screen at each rivnut location.
