Tempered Glass Code

A window must be made of tempered glass if:
  • The bottom edge of the window is within 18" of the floor and it's bigger than 9 square feet
  • The top edge is within 36" of the floor
  • The horizontal edge is within 36" of a walking surface
  • It is within 36" of a tub
  • It is adjacent to or less than 24" from the arc of a door, with a bottom edge less than 60" from the floor
